An
Inconvenient Truth
What I learned
from “An Inconvenient Truth” is that we are all responsible for protecting our
earth and we must take action to stop the further destruction of our earth. I
always knew that global warming was true but I never realized the extent that
the temperature has already raised. It is kind of daunting to realize just how
much the temperature is rising and at such an exponential rate. The movie has
made me realize that if we don't do something our future generations are
doomed. It is astonishing how much of an impact we have on our earth. We must
amend our mistakes and try to fix this before it is too late. The possibility
of the ocean rising is scary because cities like New York and Miami would be
flooded and many people would lose their homes. Countries below sea level would
be devastated with destruction and loss of homes. This movie has made me much
more aware of how destructive we humans are and how we must act to save our
future generations and the earth itself. The fact that this has been ignored
for so long is even more worrying. What if there are other scientific answers
that are important to life as we know it but are silenced by the masses?
